Nerve War (2nd version)

Reputed to be the first output of Front Line Assembly, this was issued in tape form only, probably distributed by Bill Leeb himself, and there are reputed to be only about 50 copies in existence. Leeb has stated in interview that even he does not possess a copy.

The "original version" of the tape contained the track ‘Thy Glory’ on the end of side A. That track contains a drum loop which was ripped off directly from The Tear Garden song ‘Tear Garden’, and when cEvin Key (of Skinny Puppy and The Tear Garden) told Leeb to remove it from the tape – which on this "2nd version" he did. (It didn’t stop Bill from submitting the track ‘Thy Glory’ to the Belgium label Insane Music for inclusion on their compilation tape Insane Music For Insane People Volume 25.)

Untitled 5 was mislabeled “Certain Style” and Untitled 4 was mislabeled “Power Of”
“Certain Style” and “Power Of Oppression” were joined as one track labeled “Oppression”
“As Of You” and “Untitled 1” were joined to one track and mislabeled “As Of You.”
